Like a Holiday Miracle the Madeline Tosh surprise box arrived at 5 pm this evening!!!
It is a mixed box, but I don’t think she has a bad color.
Here is a sampling of the 200 sk. we have!! I will leave it out like this to make it easier to pick from. You will not want to miss out!! I am still waiting for my original July order to be processed, so you will want to take advantage of this surprise box!
Also arriving today, Berrocco Hurray! This a NO KNIT scarf kit that comes with Pre-made Pom pons! It could not be easier, and the colors are great!
For fun, I timed Susannie to see how long it took to make the scarf. Would you believe 8 minutes? Truely, that is how long it took!!
all you do is cut the pieces, braid and then attach Pom pons! This is a great project for a kids party or bazaar items!!
Don’t forget that Saturday Dec 1 is the Medusa Headband class
at 10 am. Class fee $10. Plus material cost. You will need size 8 and 9 in 16″ circ.
-And the next Overnighter! This is a great night to try to finish those last holiday gifts! Fun starts at 7:30 pm. Cost is $10 plus a small snack to share. I will provide pizza and drinks.
Many of you may be aware that we are collecting hand knit hats and scarves for the second grade class of Jennifer Longworth. We are going to have a knit night on Thursday November 29, to knit hats and scarves. I will have patterns available to hand out. If you buy the yarn from Mass Ave Knit Shop, we will give a 50% in-store credit when the finished items are returned to us. Please join us for this great community project! All extra items will be donated in Jennifer’s name to local charities.
We will start knitting around 5pm until around 8 pm. I will provide pizza!!
