*OCTOBER IS SOCKTOBER AT HORIZON HOUSE-So for this OVERNIGHTER we will be collecting donations of NEW WHITE socks for the homeless. With the gift of 2 or more pairs of socks , the OVERNIGHTER fee will be just $10. If you can not attend the OVERNIGHTER, but would like to donate socks, just drop them off.  We will have a basket by the front desk. Thank You!! 

Don’t forget about the BICENTENIAL TORCH RUN this sat. They are scheduled to be here around 1 so I think you should be here around 12, just in case. Bring your chair and we will knit out front. 

DON’T forget that the Indiana BICENTENIAL TORCH RUN IS PASSING BY THE SHOP THIS SATURDAY! The plan is for you to bring your chair, your knitting and your noise makers and we will sit outside ( in front of the shop) and cheer them on!  The torch is scheduled to pass by us between 1 and 1:30. But it is not an exact science!   Let’s cheer them on and enjoy a great day of knitting outside. Come as early as you want-we open at 10 am.  Last I check the temp was supposed to be in the mid 70s.
