* Sorry Mary, you left before I could get a pic.
Come in and get your yarn before the 31st!
We will meet for the Mystery knit along at 2 pm. on Sat nov. 1st.
If you did not make it to the In Store Retreat, many participants are going to make the Shibui pattern no. 31! That group will meet on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 10 am- 12. We will have the pattern and different yarn choices in the store on monday! check it out on RAVELRY. There is no charge for this group. Just Pattern cost and yarn.
SO EXCITED!- I have finally, (with the help of Heather E.), figured out a form and colors for the Temperature Scarf! You will knit 2 rounds a day in a color that represents the average temperature for that day. It is knit in the round on 80 sts with a guage of around 5.5 sts to the inch.
Your color will be determined by the average temperature for that day. You will get a form that you can write down the temperature, in case you can’t get to it right away. It will also have a spot to clip a bit of yarn for each degree change.

Here are the choices for the 20 ball version with the cold colors at the bottom of the photo.
I have chosen 2 groups of colors. A 10 color option (with 10 degree changes) and a 20 color option ( with 5 degree changes).
I will kit the two options with a 10% discount. Let me know and I will put one together for you. The 20 ball kit is regularly priced $158.00 and the 10 ball kit is $80. This is a year long project.
Check out these new paper bowls-

They are just $17.00. I only have 10, so don’t wait too long!
Look at the two new samples sent to us from Tahki/ St. Charles Yarns.

A simple loose knit cardigan out of the Adele.

BIG THANK YOU!
I just want to thank all of you who participated in the IN STORE RETREAT! I hope you had as much fun as I did! It is so wonderful for me to see everyone enjoying themselves at the shop! Here are a few photos!

Also, here is Steph in her new Vikings hat ( a gift for her daughter)!! I have to say the Pom Pon makes it! It is knit out of one ball of Lova Fan yarn from Schachenmayr Yarns.
Here are the team colors we have in stock.

The hat pattern is from the Fall 2014 Knit Simple. They have 5 or 6 hat patterns using this yarn, both knit and crochet!
I have to say what a hit the BIG GUYS FOOD TRUCK was friday night, so for the spring retreat we will offer a food truck option both friday and saturday nights!
Speaking of the SPRING RETREAT- the dates are April 10-12. MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW!!
I had to show you this really cute headband that Pepper and I designed!

She used the Schachenmayer Merino Extrafine Color 120.

It only takes 1 ball of yarn and a 16′ size 5 needle for this project.
I think this is going to be a HUGE hit! it is fast and covers the ears so nicely!
Have a great day- I’m off to Chicago with Kate to look at Colleges! Can’t believe it!
