I’ve Figured It Out!!
By George, I’ve got it. I have figured out how to simplify the River Run Shawl and I think you will be happy! I am making mixed yarn/color balls so you don’t have to think about ” what color do I use next”! And I have also surmised ( pretty impressive for a Monday morning) how to simplify the rows! EUREKA!!

And here is my knitting from Sunday – you have got to love an all day volleyball tournament ! So much knitting time ( and no laundry )!

Start date for the group is still April 12 th. Let me know what you think.
In the mean time I will be making up yarn balls for you to pick from! I will post pics as I get a few made!
Don’t forget that the In Store Retreat is coming! Dates are April 25-27.
Cost is still just $25 for the weekend. Dinner on Saturday night is $7.50. Send in your check as soon as possible so we know how many people we will have. Include dinner money if you would like to partake! If you have questions check the website for information about the retreat or call the shop. It is always a great time!

LOTS GOING ON!!
1. We are getting Shibui Yarns. I am so excited! I have picked up their linen, Silk Cloud and Kavo. They have great pattern support and amazing colors!! Their patterns remind me of some Japanese designs. It should be here next week. I will send out a post.
Also new is the BAAH sock weight arriving the beginning of next week. This is what I will be using for the Mystery Knit Along that starts the 22nd. Was everyone able to find the kal on Ravelry?

Alpaca Magna from Plymouth. This yarn has fabulous colors and knits on a size 17 needle!!

This cardigan is knit in strips, so the colors change throughout in really interesting ways! You can use a yarn that changes in the skein, or you can use a yarn like Opal in multiple color ways.
