So you think I am just here sitting in the sun? Well okay I am doing that, but I am working also!
I am collecting shells

The next knit along in the Stephen West book 4 is Itaca. We are going to be knitting it out of 2 shades of linen.

We figure it takes around 30 shells per shawl. SO I REALLY NEED TO KNOW WHO WANTS TO MAKE THIS PROJECT, SO I COLLECT ENOUGH SHELLS!!
Just send me an email at massaveknitshop@ameritech.net so I have enough for every one. We will meet on March 30 at 10 am to start this project. That gives me a week when i get home to dremel (?) the holes in the shells and get mine started !

Here is another project I am working on ( ON VACATION ) for the In Store Retreat! It is a boat neck coverup / open mesh top out of Cotton Supreme Batik. It will be one of the free patterns for the retreat. After the retreat it will be available for purchase.

What is a Late Night Knit

A “Late Night Knit” is a night we set aside for our favorite yarn projects. The evening starts at 5:30 PM and goes on til Midnight. For $20 we provide pizza and drinks. You bring a snack and your latest project to work on. Sometimes we work on a service project, so be sure to check the blog before you join us. Can’t wait to see you at our next “Late Night Knit”

In-Store Retreat

What IS the In-Store Retreat?
The In-Store Retreat is a weekend of meeting up with old friends and making new ones while working on your latest yarn project without the distraction of home and work.

For a fee of $30 for the entire weekend, you get a discount on all yarn in the store, as well as 7-10 free patterns, a cool shop bag and a chance to win one of the many door prizes we give away throughout the weekend.
