Brave Laura finished her Classic Elite bag and decided that she can finish another project before the July 31 dedline for the knit-a-long! She really wants to win the $100. gift basket from Classic Elite yarns! GO GIRL!!!
The bag is knit with 2 skeins of Classic Elite Sprout. The handle set is from Cindy’s Buttons and runs $7. We have the tan and black. Call the shop if you want a set, they will go fast!

Classic Elite Knit Night Tonight
Times a wasting! Tonight you can come in and work on you Knit-A-Long project. We will be here from 5-7 pm! come join us and show us your progress. The Knit A Long party will be Sat July 30th at 1pm. We will show our finished items, take photos and draw for the $100. gift basket from Classic Elite-yeh! If you can not be here on the 30th you need to bring in your finished item(s) so we can put your name in the drawing! We must see the pinished product!
This Sat July 16th is the next OVERNIGHTER! It starts at 7:30 pm and will last as long as you do! Cost is $20. plus a small snack to share. I will get pizza and drinks for all! This is a great time to work on your C.E. K-A-L items or you Super Scarves. We are planning another Scarf Knit Night after Stitches Midwest.
Speaking of Stitches Midwest– We are trying to fill a 2nd bus!! I am taking checks and names that I will hold until we know it is a go. Send in or bring by your Check for $50.00 (it goes up to $60. this friday) with your e-mail and cell phone number. I will e-mail you when I get the check and again when the bus is a go. If you have sent in a check and have not heard from me you need the call the shop because I never recieved it.
The 1st annual Freedom Fiber Festival was a success! We hand 37 participants and around 70 shoppers! I think that for the first year this is great. You can pick up returned items and store credits this friday. Thanks to all who participated. It was a lot of fun!
