It is finally here!! The In Store Retreat is this Friday(April 29) and runs through Sun

 (May 1).  There are still a few spaces so call the shop to see if we can fit you in!  Don’t forget your 8″ squares for the Schuylar blanket program.  For every 3 squares you turn in, your name will go into a  jar for a drawing to win a $15. gift certificate.  We will draw once a day and your name will stay in the drawing until you win.  This is a great program to help grieving parents across the country!  You can knit or crochet the squares.  They just need to be machine washable and measure 8″ square.

Also, we are starting a project for INTERNATIONAL kNITTING BOMB DAY-JUNE 11, 2011. We are asking for knit or crochet triangle that measure 12″ across.  Susannie will crochet the triangles to create a pennant flag to string across Virginia Ave (don’t tell anyone!)  The logistics is are still being figured out.  You can bring your pennants when you come for the retreat if you have them finished.  Length is not important, and the gaudier the better.  If by chance you don’t have leftover yarn laying around, we do at the shop!  Just ask, Susannie has a basket set aside for this project! Remember,  the gaudier the better.

In case you have not heard, We are taking payment for the Bus To Stitches. The cost is $50. which will go up to $60 july 15.  We are already about a third full, so don’t put it off!  Send in your check(or come by) with your e-mail address and cell phone number.  We will notify you when we recieve your check. NO CHARGES FOR THE BUS!
