Ravelry Party
Don’t forget that this sat (Feb. 25) is the ravelry football party. They are bringing football game snacks to share and they will be working on their Super Bowl Scarves! The Superbowl Committee has given us (mass. ave.) some goodies to give away to our great scarf knitters, so join the fun and do something good for our city! knit time is 12-4 and all are welcome!
The next Super Scarf Knit Night be May 12. We will have a special teacher, Sarah Burton, who is the queen of mosaic knitting! She is creating a somewhat simple mosaic pattern for us to learn and knit our Super Bowl Scarves. Time is 5-8 pm. No charge except for the yarn.

Silk Scarf Needle Felting Class: I am so excited about this. Hand dyer, Annette Browing from Kentucky will be teaching many ways to needle felt on silk. Class size is limited to 12!!! Class fee is $85 which includes all materials. Date is Sat. June 18, 11-3pm. Don’t hesitate on this class, she can only have 12 people!! Check out some of her hand dyed alpaca just in the store! She has some great colors.
Also, one of our own, Becky Arrensen is making quilts for Cancer patients, so if you have fabric laying around the house that you want to get rid of, bring it to the shop and we will pass it on to her. This is a great cause and we can all help. If you don’t have any fabric but want to help, she has a piggy bank at the front desk for you to throw your spare change into.
Next open knitting will be thurs. March 3 from 5-8. just come in and hang out.
next overnighter is march 5. Knitting starts at 7:30 pm and goes as long as you can last. Cost is $20 plus a small snack to share with the group. I will provide pizza and drinks for the group.
