Cruise meeting and other things

The next cruise meeting for those attending (or still considering attending) will be next sat (jan 22 at 10 am):  We will be starting the project that I (susan) will be teaching on the cruise.  It is an easy lace shawl on size 6 needles, 24″ length is fine.  We will also be checking on the progress of the cruise wrap that we are all making!  The meeting will last around 2 hours.

There are still some spaces left for the spring Knit Camp.  Call to reserve your spot.  Projects for camp are Needle Felting on a bag, and some Valentine treasures!  Knit Camp is in Brown County the weekend of Feb. 3.

The Cable Coat Class starts next Wed. (Jan 19 from 6pm-8pm). This is a beautiful coat with a variety of cable styles!  Come by the shop, or check out Vogue Early Fall 2010.

The Entrelac Jacket (sample in the shop) class starts thurs.  jan 20.  There are 2 class times- 10 am-12 or 6pm-8pm.  You can mix and match between morning and eve. if you need to.  Call with questions.

Ravelry will also meet sat jan 29 from 12-4.

The deal of the day for thurs. is a bonanza of STUFF!  We will have Reynolds Playtime, Hopscotch, Sundays Best, and Washday Wool all for $3.00 a ball.  Playtime and Hopscotch are worsted weight yarns in wool.  sundays Best and Washday wool are both fingering weight yarns.  Washday is a wool and sundays best is a cotton.  Again just $3.00 a ball for any of these!

Hours on thurs are 11-7pm.

Friday is the last day of the sale and hours will be 10 am-1pm (strictly enforced!)

We will be closed on Jan 1 until Jan 7 , reopening on the 8th!

What is a Late Night Knit

A “Late Night Knit” is a night we set aside for our favorite yarn projects. The evening starts at 5:30 PM and goes on til Midnight. For $20 we provide pizza and drinks. You bring a snack and your latest project to work on. Sometimes we work on a service project, so be sure to check the blog before you join us. Can’t wait to see you at our next “Late Night Knit”

In-Store Retreat

What IS the In-Store Retreat?
The In-Store Retreat is a weekend of meeting up with old friends and making new ones while working on your latest yarn project without the distraction of home and work.

For a fee of $30 for the entire weekend, you get a discount on all yarn in the store, as well as 7-10 free patterns, a cool shop bag and a chance to win one of the many door prizes we give away throughout the weekend.

Feel free to join us all weekend or just for an hour or two. We look forward to seeing you over the weekend!
