“Itsy Bitsy Toys”- from the same group that brought itsy bitsy hats.  What a great small project book! Cost:$17.95

“Knits Men Want”. Looking for those great basic for men.  This is the book for you.  It has hats, socks, vests and some really nice sweaters.  Cost $18.95

“Tow-Up 2-at-a-Time” this sock book has some good directions, but you do have to do some math, but don’t let that scare you(your teachers were  right when they told you that you would be  using  geometry when you grew up)!

“Vogue Knitting Stitchionary #5” is also in stock.  This book is all lace patterns. As in past volume of this series, this book is stuffed with  patterns and samples tohelp you create your own shawl pieces. Cost:$29.95

“Amigurumi Knits”.  Are you on a quest for a knitted hermit crab, praying mantis, or garlic? This is the book for you.  It has all the creatures and foods you never knew you needed to knit.  Cost:$19.99

This Sun. June 20, 2010 is the World Wide Knit in Public day.  It is being held at the Artsgarden at Circle Center Mall downtown.  A group of us from the shop are going to go and knit from 2-around 4, then we are going to P.F. Changs for dinner.  Please join us, if only for the knitting.  Lets show indy how cool it is to knit!  I will be working on my Superbowl Scarf, but you can work on what ever you want.  At the shop we have a good amount of the Alpaca With a Twist yarn Super Bowl yarn-“TOUCHDOWN, so if you want me to bring you some, just call the shop.  We can wind it for you also. 

If you have scarves to turn in, just bring them along and we will pass them on to the superbowl com.  They need to get them in so they can put the patches on them!
