The In-Store-Retreat was a blast! Great comments from everyone! The Spring In-Store Retreat is scheduled for April 12-14 2013! Mark your calendar! One of the many hits during the retreat were the shawl kits from HPKY. I am working one in the grey to black colorways- my yarn is Venice, which has a metallic running through it.
There are also some other colors if you do not want the glitter.

-Trapeze DROP OUT Project-you know who you are!! We have the perfect project for the malabrigo lace purchased for the trapeze shawl-
It takes 2 sk. of the malabrigo lace and you can use beads if you choose!!!
This is a 4 row pattern that will be SOOOO much easier than Trapeze. So come out of hiding and get your yarn out of the trash and join me to work this pattern!!
We will meet on Sat, Nov 10 at 10 am to start this shawl. Anyone is welcome to join us for this project( you do not need to be a T.D.O (trapeze drop out). You will need 2 sk of malabrigo silkpaca (or other lace yarn-800 yds) and size 7 and 8 lace needles, which we just got in the store- imagine!!!
There are still some seats on the Bus to Vogue Live Chicago- the date is sat Oct 27, 2012. Bus leaves Keystone at the Crossing at 7 am and should arrive back around 10pm. Call the store to get your seat. Also, we have a reduced entrance ticket for the market. You will get back on the bus at 5:30 Chicago time, so you can take an afternoon class if you want! These socks are wonderful knit in the chunky alpaca! Very Luxurious!!
