Remember, you have a week to get your items for the FREEDOM FIBER FESTIVAL in to the store.  Pack up your unwanted items (yarn, needles, books, fabric) in ziplock bags with your name and the dollar amount you want into the shop by friday July 1st!  The fee is $5.00, and we will sell it for you on JULY 9 FROM 10 AM-1 PM.  You can choose to have back what does not sell, or we will donate it to groups that do charity knitting!  You will have an in-store credit for everything of yours that sells! ...

The dea l of the day on Sunday is Reynolds Yarns Top Seed Cotton. It is a mercerized cotton that knits at 5 sts to the inch. The regular price is $6.50 and 7.50 a skein. The sale price is $3.00 a sk.  There is a good selection of colors.  Store hours on Sunday are 10am-4 pm. The Deal of the Day on Saturday is GGH Samoa.  It is a 4.5 stitch to the inch cotton /acrylic blend.  The deal is $3.00 a ball!!  The remaining Handknit Cotton and Denim from Rowan is still $3.00 a ball.  There is a small amount left so you better get in early tomorrow!! The Deal of the Day today is:  Mission Falls 1824 wool- $3.00 a ball (reg. $6.80). This is a heavy worsted weight yarn knit at 4-4.5 sts to the inch with around 82 yards per ball!  What a deal! Okay it is Sun. and I am at the shop, because I had to send out the pictures from the Nuno Felting class yesterday!  WOW!  The class was wonderful and everyone had such a great time.  Annette Browning, of Kentucky Blue Fiber Co. did a wonderful job getting the creativity of everyone going.  The materials she brought were so beautiful and inspiring that there was no way the class was not going to be a success.  I have posted pictures of the hand dyed silk scarves she brought with her which are...

Today is the first day for you to start droping of the items you want us to sell at the Freedom Fiber Festival!  All you need to do is go through your stash, bag it up in  Ziploc bags with your name and how much you want for it on an index card. Drop your bags off at the shop between  today, june 13 and july 1. The sale will be held on Sat. JULY 9 from 10-1 in the parking lot at the shop (weather permitting, inside if it rains ).
