The price for the bus to Stitches Midwest is now $55. There are seats still available, call or stop by the shop to reserve your seat!
Shop Closed
The shop will be closed on Saturday, July 4th for the Holiday. We will reopen regular business hours on Sunday, July 5th (Noon to 4:00 p.m.)
Site Outage
The website will have some outage time this weekend, beginning Friday, July 3rd while we move to our new hosting location.

One Skein, Two Skeins, Three Skeins and More
Today we successfully inventoried the shop for the new register system. Susan wants to make sure we thank all those that helped today. It was a massive job…and we finished it in record time.
We have an ace business consultant, Nancy, working to input all the information into our new “Square” Point of Sale system. Its an Apple powered product that will help us accomplish a lot of things we’ve been wanting to do.
The new streamlined register is in, and we’ve been using it for the past couple weeks. We’ll also have the option during sales to have “mobile registers” walking around the store to help you with your purchases and minimize wait times for the checkout line.
“SAVE A TREE, EMAIL A RECEIPT”
Also a new option is we can text or email your receipts to you from the register or our mobiles.
Coming Soon…A Brand New Look
Dru is working hard to redesign our site. Making it more compliant with Google best practices for mobile devices. We’re moving to a new hosting company, Massive Ant, in Tampa. They specialize in WordPress sites and are working with us to super power the new site. We’ll also be moving our subscription list and self hosting our emails, so now we’ll be able to deliver all the content from our blog to your email boxes based on your request. The goal is to have the site design finished and hosted at its new spot this coming holiday weekend. So, we might have some downtime while we re-point the address. If you try to log on this coming weekend and can’t reach the site; know we’re not down permanently…just in the process of moving.
Online Shopping
Nancy is also working with us to finally to set up our online shopping cart, also powered by Square. We are looking to have that up by the end of the summer. She’s a real go-getter and we have no doubt she’ll have us up and online in no time. Be excited….be very very excited. We Are!
Fiber Festival
Saturday’s Fiber Festival was a great success. Susan is adding an extra day, Sunday, JULY 12th from Noon to 2:00 p.m., for the second day of our Fiber Festival. So if you couldn’t make it this Saturday, please come join us for another chance at picking up some great items. “One Knitter’s Stash is another Knitter’s Treasure!” Our third and final day for the Festival will be July 25th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon.
