So much fiber, so much news!

Lots to catch up on, so let’s get to it.
Today starts the Extended Trunk Show for Leading Men Fiber Arts at the shop and online. Please stop by the shop and see their amazing colorwork. The trunk show will run until June 19th. We have Spotlight, Mohair Silk, Dramaturg, Sparkle Sock, and Improv Sock Blanks. The guys did the yarn for the Spring Crawl and we just fell in love with their stuff and had to have them in for a trunk show. We think you’ll agree, they are SUPERSTARS! Online Trunk Show Here
Coming in July we will have a one-day Trunk Show with Ash & Bumble a small batch hand-dyed yarn company based right here in Indianapolis. They work with ethically sourced fiber from mills around the world and add their own with unique dyeing methods. The show will be in store on July 17th, 2021 from 11:00 to 4:00 p.m.
In August we will be at the Pittsburgh Creative Arts Festival at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Green Tree, PA. It’s been forever since we did a booth show and what better way than to work with Laura Regan as she takes over the show and expands it in the future. More about this soon!
If you haven’t gotten an Advent Calendar for 2021, we are about halfway through our stock. Once these are gone, I’m not sure we’ll get them back in, so now is the time to grab yours and be ready for the holidays (oh wow, did I just say that?).
If you didn’t notice, store hours are expanding again, as of the end of May we are now also open on Friday from 11:00 to 3:00. Come get your fiber fix!
Coming this Fall, the 2021 Fall Retreat will return to its previous format. We had so much fun with the virtual retreats but it’s time to get back in to see each other. As of right now, we will have these rules in place for participation. It is subject to change as we get closer to the event. We want to make sure that we are keeping everyone safe for our first in-person retreat.
- Limited to 40 participants
- Vax cards requested
- During business hours, mask on in the store
- We will close the retreat room to participants only so masks will not be required while you’re in the room.
The cost is $25 includes a swag bag, patterns, and 20% off yarn purchases excluding Advent Calendars. Susan wanted me to pass along that we most likely will not have access to a food truck and invites you to BYO food or visit one of the many local shops and restaurants for eats and treats.

- October 31, 10-4
And now, the best for last: MAKS Summer Sale will be June 17th through June 20th. We are offering 25% for in-store purchases and 30% for online purchases. This sale excludes Advent Calendars and Leading Men Fiber Arts. Time to stock up for summer projects or jump-start your holiday knitting (yes, I said it again!).
