I said to myself...

I should do something today besides knit.
And then I laughed and laughed.

Heads Up! Important Event News for this weekend!

Susan called from the umbrella closet on the beach at Sanibel Island (you can ask her when you see her about that story), to ask me to let you all know about an update for this weekend. The Wabash Woollen Works Trunk Show for this Saturday, November 14th has been put on temporary hold. We are hoping to reschedule it in the coming weeks (will be on a Saturday) before December 5th. We’ll update you as soon as we have it on the schedule again!

Also, she asked me to let everyone know that has ordered their Advent Calendar that they are ready to pick up this Saturday! If you haven’t ordered one yet we still have a few left. You can call the shop to order or order it from the website!

Stay safe and knit like there’s no tomorrow!

While you wait…from your friends at MAKS

Voting will finish in just two days. If you haven’t voted yet, I encourage you to do so. And while you’re waiting, we’ve created a pattern for you to knit. From my personal experience, knitting while waiting to vote had several interesting benefits. Firstly, it depoliticized the whole process. During my two hour wait, not one person asked who I was voting for or what was my party affiliation. It did however start several conversations about the project, about my knitting, and seemed to make the time pass much faster.

No matter what party you vote for it’s important to exercise your right to vote. Please enjoy this project while you wait and I hope you’ll make some new knitting friends in the process. This pattern was developed by Susan while she was waiting in line to vote and uses Berroco Mochi, but can be used with any chunky weight yarn.

Stay safe and knit like there’s no tomorrow.

Yours,
Dru

What is a Late Night Knit

A “Late Night Knit” is a night we set aside for our favorite yarn projects. The evening starts at 5:30 PM and goes on til Midnight. For $20 we provide pizza and drinks. You bring a snack and your latest project to work on. Sometimes we work on a service project, so be sure to check the blog before you join us. Can’t wait to see you at our next “Late Night Knit”
