April 29 is the FRESH START BIKE TOUR, which is a downtown bike ride that will be visiting a number of sustainable gardens in the area. They will be biking on the Cultural Trail ( on Virginia Ave) in front of the Shop! So Elaine and I got together and started a new “4H” project! We are asking customers to knit up fruits and vegetables for the MASS AVE FRUITS AND VEGGIE STAND. I am Tom Sawyering a customers husband to build us a stand so we just need to get some “produce”. If you want to knit something up, come on by the shop and get some yarn from my stash and a pattern. We will also have an overnighter in April to knit up some veggies.
-Stephen West MKAL starts March 3!! It is a stash buster shawl! However I am also using some of the Zen Garden Sock yarn!! The pattern uses fingering weight doublestranded! You can also use dk/sport single stranded, but I think it will be more interesting mixing in more colors. The knit along pattern is available on RAVELRY. I am also going to use some of my La Jolla left over from my FIND YOUR FADE SHAWL.
New colors of La Jolla for the find your fade shawl are here !
I can’t wait to add them to my shawl!
Also new from BAAH YARNS- Super Chunky- 2 sts = 1″. There are 85 yards per skein.
MALABRIGO RIOS TEMPERATURE BLANKET KITS ARE BACK IN STOCK!!
Here is Mona’s blanket so far! Just gorgeous!!
SEE YOU FRIDAY!!
