This Friday (August 3rd) is the Needle Earring class with Jennifer of Bur Oak Studios! The class starts at 6 pm and will run until 8 pm. Class fee is just $30.00 and you will make 3 pairs of earrings. All materials are included! Come join us for a really good time and get a jump on your holiday gift making!
We will be meeting this Saturday at 2:00 to work on our the Cruise 2019 Poncho! If you haven’t started yours yet, it is not too late to join us! Bring in some size 5 and 6 needles and we can get you started with your yarn choices! We are working a Hedgehog Fibres pattern because we will be visiting them on our cruise.

Also, on Saturday the 11th we will start working on the SWONCHO PATTERN by Caitlin Hunter! We will meet at 10 am to work on this pattern. There is no charge for the group, we only ask that you purchase yarn at Mass Ave Knit Shop for the project. Please get your yarn before we meet, if possible. There is a small amount of homework to do before the 11th. We will meet once a month for the next couple of months to work on the SWEATER/ PONCHO!
Also, mark your calendars for the Blanket group with Rovena! She will be working on the Vivid Throw by Tin Can Knits. You can purchase the pattern off Ravelry (or by it online through the store). The blanket can have any mix of colors you want! Each square should measure about 10.5″ We will be using the Cascade Superwash Merino for this project. You can make a baby, throw or adult blanket. The group will first meet on October 6 from 2pm – 4pm and the 1 sts of the month in Nov and Dec. Don’t wait too long to pick your colors, this yarn goes very quickly! Here are Rovena’s choices for her blanket and an example of the square!
HERSTORY for the month of July- Christians Nusslein-Volhard. She worked with fruit flies to figure out genetics as they relate to embryonic development. We only have 8 skeins, so don’t delay!!
