Socks on 2 straight needles-learn to work a heal, instep and toe while knitting a sock on 2 straight needles. First-NEW MYSTERY KNIT ALONG HAS STARTED!   I am using 2 shades of Malabrigo Mechita, 1 of Baah LaJolla and 1 of Tosh Light Twist!  The first clue came out yesterday and I have over half finished. SKNITB has a new mystery knit along! "THE RIDDLER" begins in a few days! Fun starts on March 7 th. You can order the pattern now on Ravelry. I will not be here for the 1st clue, but we will meet the Saturdays following clues 2-4. The project takes 4 sk. of either fingering or dk weight yarn (samples on ravelry page include 2 solids, a variegated, and self striping OR 3 solids and a variegated) . There are 4 clues. You will receive one a week. It was made up of some really interesting stitches!...

The 2 new colors of LIBERTY WOOL are in!    Love them both! If you are signed up for the Diamond Mitre Blanket, I have pulled 1 each of the 2 colors.     New yarn from CLASSIC ELITE- FORTUNA knits at 5.5-5 sts to the inch.  The book has many great patterns!        WE STILL HAVE PASSPORTS FOR THE YARN CRAWL! YOU still have 2 weekends and 1 week to ROVE INDIANA!

Due to the possibility of bad weather we are canceling tonight's BEGINNING KNITTING CLASS. ALSO, call the shop if you need to get anything before the snowpocolis!  Jane may leave early if the snow starts to fall!  Don't for get the ROVING INDIANA YARN CRAWL starts this Friday!  Can't wait!
