Love this stitch pattern. I keep thinking I.U. Scarf! Even the back is great! 40 stitches is the perfect width for a scarf.

Okay, looking at my mystery knit along I am having issues with the colors and block 4! As set, my block 5 is red and black. What will block 6 be? It would make sense for yarn usage to make it white. However, then the only blocks with white will be next to each other! So, here is what I am going to do. I am going to rip back block 4 and take out an additional 2 sts. Now I will be down to 34 sts! I am going to knit it in white (color B). Then my block 5, I will knit in red (color C) and white...

Clue #5 okay, I did less stitches for clue #4 than noted in the pattern (36). So i am going to increase 4 sts to the 40 sts for clue #5. I will keep you posted!

I worked the clue number four as it was designed and found that it was way too wide. So I have ripped it out and I'm going to redo it. In the first set up row instead of knitting in the front and back of one stitch I've actually knit two together three times evenly spaced across the row. I now have 36 stitches on the needle instead of 40. I think that will look better. I'll let you know.
