Here are promised pictures of my Puff -daddy!
Elaine and I took our promised trip to cincy and got our comforters (and a few other items ).
Back to the puff!  It was so easy and we have many options for yarn choices.  I am next going to try 128 triple stranded.
For my Puff I cast on with waste yarn.  I wanted to try Kitchner, which worked really well.  I was afraid sewing cast on and bind off ends together or 3needle bind off might end up too tight along the side.   However I kitchnered with the wrong side out.  Otherwise I would have had 3 rows of knit together.   I stuffed with 2 comforters from IKEA.  They cost $7.95 each.   You might start scouring yard sales now!   Remember,  you want your stuffing to be some what flexible, so don’t by a cheap stiff comforter!  Evan if it is only $1.00!!
The pattern calls for 35 stitches cast on.  My was somewhere around 39?  I knit for about 45″ on size 17 needles.  I used 4 skeins of Malabrigo Rasta.  I left just enough yarn to kitchner and draw up both ends!
This is truly a really fast project.   What a great house warming gift!
Hey -Retreat starts in 3 hours!!
See you then!!
