I have finally decided what project I want to knit with CARAVAN (Linen/Cotton/Nettle/Silk blend) from Diamond Yarns. It has been driving me crazy just sitting on the table!   

 It will be a scarf when it grows up!  I am using a couple fun new ( to me) techniques-Knitting in the round on 2 needles and Jogless Jog ( so my rows line up). 

KNITTING IN THE ROUND ON 2 CIRCULAR NEEDLES AND JOGLESS JOG CLASS-Tues. April 19 from 6-8 pm. Cost: $20.  Call or stop in tho sign up. 

There are still a few spaces available in the KNITTING SOCKS ON 2STRAIGHT NEEDLES class that starts next Tuesday –April 12, 26 and May 10 from 6-8 pm. Cost : $30.00 plus materials! This class is a great introduction to sock knitting!

Mothers Day Knit Along by J.L. Fleckenstein. The pattern says it is $6.00, but if you get it before April 9, it is free! I am using Malabrigo Mechita in the English Rose. 

This pattern will be free through April 9, 2016 at midnight EST. No coupon required. Knit along starts April 29 th. 

We will be knitting a top-down triangle shawl with a theme of “A Rose for my Mama”. The pattern has been tech edited and is being test knit ahead of time, so your knitting should be smooth sailing.
The knit along will take 420-800 (size small or large) yds of fingering weight yarn. 

 I have downloaded the  intro already!

What is a Late Night Knit

A “Late Night Knit” is a night we set aside for our favorite yarn projects. The evening starts at 5:30 PM and goes on til Midnight. For $20 we provide pizza and drinks. You bring a snack and your latest project to work on. Sometimes we work on a service project, so be sure to check the blog before you join us. Can’t wait to see you at our next “Late Night Knit”

In-Store Retreat

What IS the In-Store Retreat?
The In-Store Retreat is a weekend of meeting up with old friends and making new ones while working on your latest yarn project without the distraction of home and work.

For a fee of $30 for the entire weekend, you get a discount on all yarn in the store, as well as 7-10 free patterns, a cool shop bag and a chance to win one of the many door prizes we give away throughout the weekend.
