Big Birthday Bash!

To celebrate my BIG BIRTHDAY, Friday   October 14th, we are going to have balloons!  In the balloons will be discounts from 10%-50%!  You will pick anything in the store (yes including books and needles) and then pick your balloon!  We will then pop the balloon and see what your discount will be!  There will be no adding or subtracting of items once the balloons is popped!!  PLEASE DON'T ASK!  This is one of the very rare times that books and needles are on sale, so you may want to stock up....

Okay- so sorry about yesterdays photos that did not come through!  It must have been serendipty, because we had to reschedule the class.  Here is the photo , and the class will be one of the 1st two sat. in Dec.  Annette also has a christmas stocking class the we may do on the Sun of that weekend.  Are you interested?  Call to get on the list.   You can also do slippers with higher sides for children and men.

Where does the time go???

I feel as though I have not "talked " to you guys in forever,  time just flys by.  Speaking of which, my b-day is coming up.  How could you have forgotten (i tend to remind everyone i see).  Watch for news of events planned for the BIG day! We are busy!

Besides our booth at Stitches-This Was the Best Thing.  It was a hat from the Pajama Party, and I thought it was just adorable!! Stitches 2011

Wow!  What a great day we had!  We were busy all day and well received!!  Here are some pics of the booth!! The crankers are a hit!  If you don't know what I am talking about, you need to stop by our booth (417-419) and check it out!  Malabrigo and Madeline Tosh were some of our big sellers!  Check out the new yarn - Dolce Vita.  It came in just before we left on Wednesday.  It is a loopy yarn that you finger crochet!  We call the scarf "the 42 block scarf " because that is how long it took...

Chemo Cap patterns

There are a couple patterns you can use depending on your guage 5 stitches=1" With size 7 needle cast on 100 sts. join in the round and knit for 8".  Next 2 rounds: k2tog around.  Run yarn through sts and bury end. 3.5 sts = 1" With size 10 needle cast on 70 sts.  Join in the round and work for 8".
